Gear Tour with Jerry Horton ‘Papa Roach’


We caught with Jerry Horton Guitarist for Papa Roach, He gave us a quick run through of his set up which consists of mostly 8 versions of his Signature series Schecter most of which use Seymour Duncan Jeff Beck in the bridge and a Jazz in the neck position, One main one back up for 3 different tunings.

Also along on the road is a Schecter custom Tele style with a Prototype Seymour Duncan retro pick-up in the bridge and a Antiquity humbucker in the neck position.

In the Rack he is running a Marshall JMP-1 through a Marshall 100/100 tube Power amp running GCX Switchers with a Boss GT-Pro Effects unit, a couple of MXR Carbon copy Delay pedals, MXR boost, a Line-6 Delay Modeler, Ibanez TS-9 Tube screamer “stock” and a boss Digital Delay Reverb all going through Marshall 30 and 70 Watt 4 x 12” cabinets.
