David & Sylvain “Soilwork”

drew150David & Sylvain “Soilwork”

I think it is best telling you if you do not know Soilwork you need to google that shit RIGHT NOW !!!! The new release The Living Infinite is a a double Album, 20 killer tracks that blend the most incredible Vocal melodies with some crazy screaming parts and a guitar duo direct from the shred gods !!!! Heavy fist pumping track after track.

David Anderssen the newest permanent addition to the band has been in and out of this line up in the past as a collaborator and as a replacement for founding member Peter Wichers whom I was told simply does not want to tour. David a very soft spoken man explained that he was 100% involved this time around in the writing and recording of The Living Infinite and will be a permanent fixture in the band for the foresee-able future, Not a gear head he explained he uses a 5150 for his main sound with a Cry baby, MXR Carbon Copy Delay and a noise gate to stop the hiss from the 5150 amp, David plays Ibanez Guitars. Sylvain Coudret with the band since 2008 on the other hand claims to be more of a gear guy normally uses more pedals but for this tour has a nearly identical rig to David’s and he is using Guitars made by the Polish  Guitar maker Mayones. The 2 mainly split the guitar solos and melodies based on the songs they wrote, they do not spend any time working out parts to share. This band is the real deal everything you hear on the records is executed live to the T, I urge you to check out everything they have done and see them live !!!!!!

Check out this short interview with David & Sylvain before their March 17th Montreal Canada show.
